Construction Workers Health Screening |
1.Telangana building & other construction worker's welfare board has announced a new Welfare scheme which aims at the maintaining good Health Status of the registered workers. 2.The Objective of scheme is to provide preventive health checkup to the registered construction workers. 3.The health screening camps are organized at the current construction site or near to their residence, so that workers do not lose on their wages. 4.Make them aware of any prolonged,critical diseases prevailing in them with a huge number of blood and other tests. 5.The Health screening consists of 18 different types of health check ups which are related to the Occupational Health Hazard, ECG, Hearing Loss, Vision Test,Lung Capacity Check etc. Together this constitutes comprehensive health report and health status on basis of more than 132 test parameters. 6.The benefit of Health Check up to construction workers is early diagnosis of diseases if any, which can be prevented and cured with preventive action. 7.A worker identified with serious disease is referred to Hospital for further Check Up. 8.The health screening team keeps a regular track and follow up of such patients and guides at every important stage for their well being. 9.Additionally , a “Doctor-on-Call” service is also available for registered workers , who can dial in for discussion the Health Report or any other Health related query or question. |
